While
execution is important, we believe that all successful searches
begin with a well-thought-out search strategy.
We complete every assignment that we accept.
We personally handle every step of every
search - nothing is "farmed out" or delegated to a more junior
staff member - from start to finish on every search.
We move fast and keep costs in line
While we have an extensive database,
historically <1% of the candidates that we place come from
our database. With very few exceptions, the best candidates
are not "on the street."
We are very selective about the clients
that we choose to serve, only working with high-values companies.
This practice has the additional benefit of naturally limiting
our client base and all but eliminating "blockage" issues
(by limiting our clients, we limit the number of companies
that we are unable to recruit from, therefore increasing our
ability to recruit the best candidate for our clients).
Long-term client relationships are our
goal. The better we know a client company, the more effective
we can be on their behalf. An additional benefit of a close
relationship will be that The Whiting Group will require less
and less "ramp-up" time on new searches as our knowledge of
the client grows.
